Mission Statement
The mission of the corporation is to assist Bedford residents who are disabled or economically disadvantaged to develop their wage potential in an appropriate work environment and to achieve financial success while encouraging an environment of trust and integrity

Our History
The Sheltered Workshop of Bedford, Inc. was established in 1972 for the purpose of providing employment opportunities to mentally and physically disadvantaged residents of Bedford City & County.  The Company has experienced steady growth and since moving from the original location on Jackson Street to Longwood Avenue, the work force has grown from 15 employees to over 140.

Rehab Services Programs
As an employer of disabled and non-disabled people, the Workshop changed it's name to Longwood Industries, Inc. in 1995.  We know that coming together as a diverse enterprise will help us to meet the challenges of the Future.
